Fred Cline would spend summers at his grandparents house where he learned to love the art of winemaking. This love led Fred to obtain a degree in Agriculture Management from U.C. Davis. In 1982, an inheritance from his grandfather enabled him to open Cline Cellars near Oakley, California.

Handpicked grapes from our Sonoma Coast vineyards in the Petaluma Gap create a refreshing and approachable wine with exquisite flavors of pears, peach and green apples. A nice bright acidity and fresh fruit are enhanced by eliminating oak usage in the winemaking process.

2006 Cline Cellars California Zinfandel
Severe selection criteria and master blending show in the final product, which showcases a wide array of dark berry fruit including black cherry and raspberry. Additionally, spice notes and a lasting finish of vanilla from oak aging and firm, supple tannins add complexity to this wine.
